COHA Social: June 11

The COHA Social is a time to let our hair down, relax, and enjoy good company, as opposed to the structured monthly meetings. We welcome all Humanists, atheist, agnostics, freethinkers, skeptics, those who are just curious, and anyone Humanist-friendly. We will meet at William’s Coffee Pub on Bryne Dr.

Jack’s Friends and Neighbours Day

As a COHA participant, you are invited by our Founding President, Jack
Wallace, to enjoy a small party we call “Jack’s Friends and Neighbours Day”.

5 pm at The Spoke in Sandy Cove
Jack’s Friends and Neighbours Day
Jack Wallas (705 436-5075 jwallas@csolve.net) will provide lasagna, soft
drinks, tea and coffee. Please bring a salad or dessert to share and a
folding chair if the weather is good.

THE SPOKE AT SANDY COVE
Travel the 400 HWY to the Mapleview exit.
Go east on Mapleview to Bayview.
Turn right on Bayview and go (1.3 km) to the end.
Turn left on Lockhart Rd. Go about 12 km.

At the community of Sandy Cove you will see a pedestrian crossing and strip
mall on the left. At the end of the mall, turn left onto Main Street.

Go north till you see a barn on the right. This barn is the Spoke. Park and
come inside.

Sideroad 17, north of Highway 89 and west of Shelbourne.

Terrie Hope: A Humanist Journey

Terri Hope, a Humanist Officiant from the Humanist Association of Canada, will come to Barrie to discuss “A Humanist Journey” with us. She will explore what Humanism has to offer human needs, and what elements ‘produce’ a humanist.

The Central Ontario Humanist Association meets at the Zehrs Markets Community Room at 620 Yonge St. on the last Wednesday of the month. All meetings are from 7PM ~ 9PM. Admission is free for the public, but please bring some spare change for the refreshments provided.
