Core Principles

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:55 pm
  • That we can live full, meaningful lives by relying on our capacities for reason, honesty, cooperation, fairness and respect for each other.
  • That we use democratic principles, logic and scientific inquiry to find realistic solutions to all of our problems.
  • That we encourage critical thinking to promote good ethics and virtues.
  • That we protect and improve the Earth for present and future generations, supporting scientific breakthroughs in medicine and technology and not inflicting needless suffering.
  • That we ensure freedom, equality and fairness for all in all levels of government including freedom of conscience.

The Core Principles of Humanism listed here are adapted from the Humanist Association of Canada’s “Guiding Principles of Humanism”.

Don't beleive in God? You're not alone.
