The Central Ontario Humanists Association (COHA) has monthly meetings at the end of the month. During these events we explore many issues, often inviting guest lecturers to give presentations. Events held in 2006 include “Restorative Justice”, “The Ritual Gap” (the possible need for non-religious rituals), and a presentation on Sam Harris, the atheist writer. We meet at the Barrie Public Library at 60 Worsley Street. We welcome all Humanists, atheist, agnostics, freethinkers, skeptics and other Humanist-friendly people. All meetings are from 7PM ~ 9PM. Admission is free for the public, but please bring some spare change for the refreshments provided.
